| Company Introduction | Bock “We believe in great wines!” Bock Winery is a family business with a tradition of grape growing and winemaking that goes back decades, even centuries. Our vineyards are located in southern Hungary, in the Villány wine region. We currently cultivate 120 hectares of our own land and another 50 hectares of integrated land. Our vineyards are located in the best plots of the Villány wine region (Ördögárok, Jammertál, Fekete-hegy, Bocor, Makár, Kopár-dűlő), where mainly red grape varieties are grown. Our wines are made according to the creed of József Bock and his son, Valér Bock, with passion and conscientiousness, always with an eye on quality. We work with complete dedication in the vineyard and in the cellar, and our work is characterized by respect for tradition and openness to innovation. We are happy to experiment with new grape varieties and winemaking methods in order to create even more exciting wines with unique characters. Every Bock wine reflects our personal attention and deep commitment to wine. We are most proud that in 2025, more than twenty of our wines received grand gold and gold medals at five prestigious international wine competitions. These awards confirm that we are on the right track – the path of quality, dedication, and continuous improvement. |

| Product Introduction | Bock Chateau Cuvée 2022-It is characterized by a crystal clear, deep ruby color and elegant viscosity. Its clean, balanced aroma is dominated by ripe black berries, blackberries, and black cherries, along with subtle warm spice notes. The wine is dry on the palate. The cherry and sour cherry seeds, delicately bitter tannins and cherry-like acidity are well balanced. Due to the restrained use of barrels, a slight vanilla and cinnamon flavor accompanies the long finish. It is ideal with grilled dishes and even spicier meats. Bock Merlot Special Reserve 2029-Merlot grapes from select, limited-yield vines in the Ördögárok vineyard in Villány were selected to produce this wine. Following fermentation, the wine underwent a 12-month aging process in new barrique barrels, followed by a 12-month rest in oak barrels. The favorable weather conditions, meticulous cultivation practices, and diligent care throughout the process have culminated in a wine that boasts a full-bodied character and robust tannins, indicating its exceptional potential. Its fresh and mature aroma features notes of blackcurrant and plum, while its flavor reveals chocolate alongside berry fruits. Bock Magnifico 2020-A wine of exceptional quality exclusively made from selected Merlot grapes from Ördögárok vineyard, which we encounter only in exceptional years. The winemaker wanted to emphasize its particular quality through its name, naming it after Il Magnifico Lorenzo Medici. The grapes and the wine made from them have to satisfy such expectations as unique flavour and complexity. It is matured in new barrique barrels for 24 months. Its appearance and deep, dark colour incorporate every endowment of the year and the terroir. Its superabundant flavour and aroma tend toward milk chocolate, sour cherries steeped in rum, prunes and tobacco. Recommended with chocolate desserts, a cigar and very special moments. |
