Terms and Conditions of Membership

The purpose of these Terms of Use is to stipulate the conditions and procedures for using the Internet site services provided by 'Seoul International Wines & Spirits Expo', Seoul International Wines & Spirits Expo MAGOK', 'Busan International Wines & Spirits Expo'  (hereinafter referred to as the "company") as well as other necessary matters.

[Chapter 1] General rules

Article 1 (purpose)
The purpose of these Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as 'terms') is to specifically stipulate the subscription conditions and other necessary matters related to the use of the customer service provided by the Company for the member, between the Company  and the customer (hereinafter referred to as 'member').

Article 2 (Effectiveness and Change of Terms of Use).
(1) These Terms and Conditions shall become effective upon their online publication on the Seoul International Wines & Spirits Expo website and may be amended for reasonable cause, provided that such amendments do not violate applicable laws. The revised terms and conditions shall take effect upon being posted online, and any revisions to important regulations, such as the rights or obligations of users, shall be notified in advance.
(2) The company may modify these Terms and Conditions in the event of a reasonable cause, and if such modifications occur, the company will promptly notify you in advance.
(3) By agreeing to these terms, you agree to regularly visit the website to check for changes to the terms. The company shall not be held liable for any damage caused due to the user's lack of information about the revised terms.
(4) Members may request to withdraw (terminate) their membership if they do not agree to the changed terms. If members continue to use the service without expressing their refusal within 7 days from the effective date of the changed terms, they will be deemed to have agreed to the changes in the terms.

Article 3 (Rules outside the terms)
① This agreement shall be applicable in conjunction with the service-specific guide provided by the company for each respective service.
② Any matters that are not specified in these terms may be subject to relevant laws and regulations and need to align with the purpose mentioned in the service-specific guides.

Article 4 (Definition of Terms)
① The document provides definitions for the terms used below.
1. 'Customer' refers to a user who uses the membership service.
2. 'Use contract' refers to the contract concluded between the company and the user in connection with the use of the service.
3. 'User number (ID)' refers to a combination of letters and numbers selected by the user and assigned by the Company for identification of the user and use of the service.
4. 'Password' means a combination of letters and numbers selected by the user to confirm that the user is the user who matches the user number assigned to the user and to protect the rights and interests of the user.
5. 'Terminal' refers to the personal computer and modem installed by the user to use the service provided by the company.
6. 'Termination' refers to the termination of the use contract by the company or the member.
② The definitions of terms used in these Terms and Conditions shall be as stipulated in the relevant laws, regulations, and service-specific guides, except for those specified in Paragraph 1.

[Chapter 2] Conclusion of Use Agreement

Article 5 (Establishment of Use Contract)
(1) The user contract is established when the customer agrees to the contents of these Terms of Use and the company accepts the application for use.
(2) Consent to these Terms of Use shall be expressed by pressing the 'I agree' button on the Seoul International Wines & Spirits Expo website during the application process.

Article 6 (Application for Service Use)
(1) A user who wishes to join as a member and use this service must provide all the information requested by the company, including their name, contact information, etc.
(2) All members must provide their real name and contact information to use the service, as users who do not register with their real name will not be able to claim any rights.
(3) Membership can only be registered under a genuine name, and the company may take measures to authenticate it.
(4) All member IDs obtained by stealing another person's name, contact information, and other details will be deleted, and the individuals responsible may be subject to punishment in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
(5) The company can differentiate the usage of the service by categorizing members based on their grade, and further subdividing them by usage time, number of times used, service menu, and other factors.

Article 7 (Protection and Use of Personal Information)
The Company endeavors to protect the personal information of users, including user registration information, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. The protection and use of user's personal information shall be governed by applicable laws and the Company's privacy policy. However, the Company's privacy policy does not apply to sites linked from the web other than the Company's official site. In addition, the Company shall not be liable for any information exposed due to reasons attributable to the user.

Article 8 (Acceptance and Limitation of Application for Use)
(1) The Company shall, in principle, approve the use of the Service in accordance with the order of receipt for customers who apply for use under the provisions of Article 6 if there is no obstacle in business performance or technology.
(2) The Company shall not approve the following cases.
* If the application is not in the real name or is made using the name of another person
* If the contents of the application form are falsely stated
* If the application is made for the purpose of hindering the well-being, order, and morals of society
* If you intend to use this service for fraudulent purposes
* If you intend to use this service for the purpose of pursuing profits
* If you apply for the service in violation of any other stipulated provisions
* If a user applies for a service that competes with this service
* In case of application in violation of other stipulated conditions
(3) If an application for service use falls under any of the following items, the Company may suspend approval of the application until the reason for the restriction of approval is resolved.
* If the company does not have enough facilities
* If the company has technical difficulties
* If it is difficult to approve the use due to other reasons attributable to the company
(4) The Company may withhold approval if the customer applying for use is a minor as stipulated in the service-specific guidance.

Article 9 (Granting and Changing User ID, etc.)
(1) The Company shall grant a user ID to the Customer as stipulated in the Terms of Service.
(2) In principle, the user ID cannot be changed, and if you want to change it due to unavoidable reasons, you must cancel the ID and re-register.
(3) The user ID may be changed at the request of the user or the Company in any of the following cases.
1. If the user ID is registered with the user's phone number or resident registration number, etc. and there is a concern of invasion of privacy
2. If it is disgusting to others or contrary to public order and morals
3. If there are other reasonable reasons
(4) The user is responsible for the management of the service user ID and password. The user is responsible for any damage to the use of the service or unauthorized use by a third party caused by negligent management, and the company shall not be liable for any such damage.
(5) Other matters related to the management and change of user's personal information shall be as stipulated in the service-specific guidance.

[Chapter 3] Obligations of the Contracting Parties

Article 10 (Obligations of the Company)
(1) The Company shall make the Service available to the Customer on the date of commencement of the provision of the Service desired by the Customer, unless there are special circumstances.
(2) In order to provide continuous and stable services, the Company shall repair or restore the facilities without delay if they are damaged or destroyed, unless there are unavoidable reasons.
(3) The Company shall establish a security system to protect personal information and shall disclose and comply with the privacy policy.
(4) The Company shall immediately handle opinions or complaints raised by users through appropriate procedures if they are objectively recognized as justified. However, if it is difficult to process immediately, the Company shall notify the user of the reason and the processing schedule.

Article 11 (Obligations of Users)
(1) When applying for membership or changing membership information, the user shall fill in all matters based on facts under his/her real name, and shall not claim any rights if he/she registers false or other people's information.
(2) Members shall comply with the matters stipulated in these Terms and Conditions and other regulations, notices, etc. prescribed by the Company, and related laws and regulations, and shall not engage in other acts that interfere with the business of the Company or damage the reputation of the Company.
(3) Members shall immediately notify the Company of any changes in the terms and conditions of the use agreement, such as address, contact information, and e-mail address, through the appropriate procedures.
(4) The member shall be responsible for all consequences arising from the negligence of password management and unauthorized use of the ID granted to the member, except in cases where the company is responsible under the relevant laws and the 'Privacy Policy'.
(5) Members may not engage in business activities using the Service without the prior consent of the Company, and the Company shall not be liable for the results of such business activities. In addition, if the Company suffers damages due to such business activities, the Member shall be liable for compensation to the Company, and the Company may restrict the use of the Service and claim damages through due process against the Member.
(6) The member may not transfer or give away the right to use the service or other status under the use contract to another person without the express consent of the company, and may not provide it as collateral.
(7) Members shall not infringe on the intellectual property rights of the Company and third parties.
(8) Members shall not engage in any of the following acts, and in the event of such acts, the Company may impose sanctions including restrictions on the member's use of the service and lawful measures.
* Registering false information when applying for membership or changing membership information
* Stealing another user's ID, password, or resident registration number
* Trading user IDs with others
* Impersonating an officer, employee, or related person of the Company
* Modify the Company's client programs, hack into the Company's servers, or make arbitrary changes to the Website or posted information, in whole or in part, without being granted special rights by the Company
* Harm or intentionally interfere with the Service
* Reproduce the information obtained through this service for purposes other than using the service, use it for publication and broadcasting, or provide it to a third party without the prior consent of the Company
* Transmitting, posting, e-mailing, or otherwise disseminating to others information, sentences, shapes, sounds, or videos with vulgar or obscene content that violate public order and morals
* Transmitting, posting, e-mailing, or otherwise disseminating to others any content that is offensive or personal in nature and may infringe upon the honor or privacy of others
* Harassing or threatening other users, or causing persistent pain or inconvenience to a particular user
* Collecting or storing personal information of other users without authorization from the Company
* Acts that are objectively judged to be connected to a crime
* Violate any other regulations or conditions of use established by the Company, including these Terms of Use
* Acts that violate other relevant laws and regulations

[Chapter 4] Use of the service

Article 12 (Hours of Service Use)
(1) The service shall be operational 24/7/365, unless there are special business or technical difficulties.
(2) The company may temporarily suspend the service without notice for unavoidable reasons, such as urgent system inspection, expansion, and replacement. Additionally, the company may completely suspend the currently provided service if it deems it appropriate, for reasons such as replacement with a new service.
(3) The company may limit or suspend all or part of the service in the event of a national emergency, power outage, failure of service facilities, or excessive use of the service, making it impossible to provide normal service. However, in this case, the company shall notify the member in advance or afterward of the reason and period.
(4) The company will not provide advanced notice in the event of service interruption caused by reasons beyond its control, such as intentional or negligent disk failure, system downtime, etc., attributable to the system administrator. Additionally, the company will not notify of system interruption resulting from intentional or negligent actions of others, such as PC communication companies, long-term telecommunications providers, etc.
(5) The company can divide the service into specific scopes and specify the availability time separately for each scope. However, in this case, the contents will be notified.

Article 13 (User ID Management)
(1) Members are responsible for managing their user IDs and passwords.
(2) The company performs all user management tasks based on the user ID. Therefore, if a member wishes to change their user ID, the company may restrict the change unless there is a valid reason recognized by the company.
(3) The user shall be held responsible for any negligence in use or unauthorized use caused by the user ID and password registered by the user, even if it is accessed by a third party.

Article 14 (Management of Posts)
The company may delete, move, or refuse to register posts or materials falling under any of the following items without prior notice.
* If the content is grossly insulting or defamatory towards other members or third parties, it needs to be addressed and rectified
* Dissemination or linking to content that violates public order and morals is not acceptable
* Promotes piracy or hacking
* Is an advertisement for profit?
* Content associated with a crime, recognized objectively, should be addressed
* If the content infringes upon the copyrights or other rights of other users or third parties
* If it violates the company's posting principles or is not in line with the nature of the bulletin board, it should be rectified
* If it is determined that they have violated other laws and regulations that are related to the matter

Article 15 (Copyright on Posts)
(1) The member who posted the content on the service screen holds the copyright for their posts. In addition, the company may not commercially use the postings without the consent of the poster, unless it is for non-profit purposes. Additionally, the company has the right to publish them in their service.
(2) Members are prohibited from using materials posted on the service for commercial purposes, including processing or selling information obtained through the use of the service.
(3) The company may delete, move, or refuse to register the contents posted or registered by the member without prior notice if it is determined that the contents fall under any of the subparagraphs mentioned in Article 14.

Article 16 (Provision of Information)
(1) The company may provide the member with various information deemed necessary for the use of the service, either through email or traditional mail.
(2) The company may request additional personal information from the member, with their consent, in order to enhance the service and acquaint the member with it.

Article 17 (Publication of Advertisements and Transactions with Advertisers)
(1) Part of the investment base that enables the company to provide the service to its members comes from the advertising revenue generated through posting. The member agrees to having their advertisement posted when using the service.
(2) The company will not be held liable for any loss or damage arising from the member's participation in, communication with, or transaction with advertisers' promotional activities that are posted on or conducted through the service.

[Chapter 5] Termination and Limitation of Service Use

Article 18 (Change and Termination of Membership)
A user may request the Company to cancel his/her membership registration (termination of membership) at any time, and the Company shall take steps to cancel the user's membership registration upon receipt of the above request.

Article 19 (Restrictions on Service Use)
(1) The Company may restrict the use of the Service if the Member violates the contents of Article 11 of these Terms and Conditions in the use of the Service or falls under any of the following cases.
* Use of vulgar IDs and nicknames that impede public order and morals
* Grossly insulting other users or interfering with their use of the Service
* If it interferes with other normal service operations
* If there is a request for correction from a related public institution such as the Information and Communication Ethics Committee
* If you have not used the service for more than 3 months
* If you upload only materials without index files to My Home and use it only as a file archive
* If it is an illegal homepage
1. Uploading commercial software or crack files
2. Posting pornographic material in violation of Article 7 of the deliberation bylaws of the Information and Communication Ethics Committee
3. Contains content aimed at performing anti-national acts
4. Unauthorized reproduction of copyrighted texts or uploading of MP3s to the home account
(2) If a member uses the service in accordance with the above restrictions, the service may be suspended, reset, or terminated in accordance with the rules for dealing with bad users without any notice to the member.

[Chapter 6] Damages and Other Matters

Article 20 (Compensation for Damages)
The Company shall not be liable for any damages in connection with the use of the services provided free of charge by the Service that do not fall under the provisions of the Privacy Policy.

Article 21 (Disclaimer)
(1) The Company shall be exempted from liability for providing the Service if it is unable to provide the Service due to natural disasters, war, and other equivalent force majeure.
(2) The Company shall be exempted from liability in the event of damage caused by the telecommunications service provider's suspension or failure to provide telecommunications services normally.
(3) The Company shall be exempted from liability for damages caused by unavoidable reasons such as repair, replacement, regular inspection, and construction of facilities for the service.
(4) The Company shall not be liable for any disruption or damage to the use of the Service caused by reasons attributable to the Member.
(5) The Company shall not be liable for any damages caused by a user's computer error, or if the member has incorrectly entered his/her personal information and e-mail address.
(6) The Company shall not be liable for any loss or failure of the Member to obtain the expected profit from using the Service.
(7) The Company shall not be liable for damages caused by materials obtained by the Member while using the Service. The Company shall also not be liable for compensation for mental damage caused by other Members while using the Service.
(8) The Company shall not be responsible for the reliability, accuracy, etc. of various information, data, and facts posted by members on the Service.
(9) The Company shall not be obligated to intervene in disputes arising through the Service between users and between users and third parties, and shall not be liable to compensate for any damages resulting therefrom.
(10) The Company shall not be liable for any damages in connection with the use of services provided by the Company to its members free of charge.

Article 22 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)
(1) Matters not specified in these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by relevant laws and customs, including the Telecommunications Business Act.
(2) For members of the Company's flat-rate service and other paid service users, the terms and policies separately set by the Company shall apply.
(3) If a lawsuit is filed for a dispute arising from the use of the Service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's headquarters shall be the competent court.

[Addendum]
(Effective Date) These Terms will be applied from December 1, 2019.

Korea Int'l Exhibition Co., LTD., the organizer of this exhibition, will utilize visitors' personal information for multiple purposes.
These include sending invitations to exhibitions organized by our company, offering guidance to participants during exhibitions, conducting identification and age verification for participation, and gathering visitor statistics.
It may also be provided to the Korea Exhibition Industry Institute (AKEI) for objective verification of exhibitions.

2. Items of personal information are collected.
The collected items include a name, age, mobile phone number, email, company name, department, position, industry classification, interests, registration date, access log, cookies, and access IP information, among other things.
The methods for collecting personal information include the pre-registration application on the homepage and the on-site registration at the exhibition.

3. The assignment of personal information handling tasks.
Korea Int'l Exhibition Co., LTD. The company entrusts the processing of personal information to external specialized companies in order to provide improved services and ensure customer convenience.
Personal information processing is entrusted to the consignee only when necessary to fulfill each individual service.

4. The retention and use period of personal information.
After the purpose of collecting and using personal information has been accomplished, the information should be promptly destroyed. However, if preserving the information is necessary to comply with relevant laws and regulations, the company will retain the registration information for the duration specified by the applicable laws and regulations.
* Retention items commonly include the following: name, age, mobile phone number, email address, company name, department, position, industry classification, and any other optional items.
* Grounds for retention include improving services, conducting research, planning, and keeping you informed about future events.
* Retention period: 5 years.

5.Rights
We only use personal information for the purposes agreed upon by the provider of such information. Furthermore, under the Personal Information Protection Act, you have the right to refuse consent for the collection of personal information. However, if you choose not to provide consent for a collection, entry into the exhibition will be restricted.
